Overall, I believe that my EDGE project was a success. Although in the beginning I had grand plans to write every single day, I still ended up with a lot of pieces that I could add to my personal writer's portfolio. Much like in the real world of being a writer, some pieces were better than others. I had pieces that absolutely flopped, I had pieces where only a single line felt good, and then I had pieces that felt they needs just a little more revising. Although I never missed a Friday deadline to report on my blog, over the course of the project I felt more and more that the blog setting wasn't work. When I would writer my posts, it was the first time I really stopped to write down what I felt and thought about the piece, so I was caught between wanting to just let all of what I was feeling pour out and wanting to have a entertaining and helpful post. I got trapped between what I was doing for myself and what I was doing for an audience that probably didn't even exist. If I do continue the blog, I will do the pouring in a private journal and then post, that way I can have the best of both worlds.

I gave this project my everything over the summer and proved that I had the self-discipline and self-motivation to be a working writer.
