I'm a senior at Southern Utah University, majoring in English with an emphasis in creative writing. As is expected, I spend most of my time reading and writing. I'm also a film minor, which is a great excuse for me to go on Netflix binges. I'm the second oldest of five children, I'm very close to everyone in my family. In fact, my youngest sister is now a freshman at SUU with me, where she's majoring in pre-nursing. My goal in life is to write novels and to write a TV show.
About Me
It's really no secret that being a writer takes a lot of self-discipline and self-motivation. Unfortunately, I think that school can only do so much to prepare you for that. I wanted to test myself, give myself an insight into what the life of a writer is like. For three months I treated writing like a job, giving myself projects to do and a deadline to do them. While I wasn't as disciplined as I thought I would be, I still made it through the 3 months successfully. Every Friday I reported my thoughts on what that week was like.
